We hope to surround students, teachers, and schools with a community of support!

On August 11th, we invite you join us in supporting our local partner, Communities in Schools (CIS), through the collection of school supplies at all of our campuses! CIS is a local organization inside public schools working to support vulnerable students and empowering them to stay in school and on the path to graduation. Through Stuff the Bus, we hope that our church will come alongside the mission of CIS to surround students, teachers, and schools with a community of support!

ENGAGE YOUR NEIGHBORS

Stuff the Bus is so much more than just collecting supplies, it’s an opportunity for us to surround and encourage our schools! Here are some quick ideas for how you can begin building a community of support:

Around your neighborhood or workplace…

  • Host a cookout

  • Invite someone to coffee

  • Take a family walk around the neighborhood

  • Host a backyard corn hole tournament

  • Distribute door hangers

  • Chalk your neighborhood

  • Leave a drop off bin for donations on your porch

  • Arrange a supply collection at work

In the digital world…

  • Post on neighborhood apps like Next Door or local Facebook Groups

  • Go live & invite your friends to participate in Stuff the Bus

  • Take a selfie with a friend and tag us!

REAL STORIES

Stuff the Bus is first and foremost about people, and collecting school supplies is simply the means by which we love people. Therefore, we want to feature the stories of all the people who give and receive God’s love through Stuff the Bus. Read on to be inspired.

JUST THE BEGINNING!

Stuff the Bus does not end with the collection of school supplies, but serves as a starting point for connection.

We encourage you to connect with our schools through volunteering and praying, too.
