Winston - A Driven 4th Grader

Winston is in the 4th grade at @dcvpa and enjoys spending time with his brothers and playing Roblox, football, basketball and sharpening his math and reading skills on IXL!

In the future, he sees himself being a NASCAR driver and writing his own book.

Those that know Winston know he’s hilarious, kind, and has great dance moves. He really likes spending time with his friends at lunch and recess, but his favorite CIS activity is going to lunch group with his CIS Student Support Specialist, Ms. Emily Dale.

“Winston has been working really hard to finish his fourth-grade year strong. He is reflective, honest, inquisitive, and has a heart of gold. I am very proud of Winston for working hard to improve his ability to self-regulate a skill that even adults struggle with! I look forward to seeing him continue to grow, and I truly believe that Winston can do whatever he sets his mind to,” said Ms. Dale.

“Ms. Dale helps me make good choices and teaches me to focus on myself. When I am in a bad mood, she helps put me in a good mood. She is someone I know I can talk to,” Winston said of Ms. Dale.
