OUR MISSION
Our mission is to reach high school students and help them walk with God. We do that by creating an outward facing community of students that gather weekly and are led by trusted adult volunteers. It is an environment that challenges students to grow in their walk with Jesus and be an active representation of Him everywhere they go. Through Jesus-centered, relationally driven small groups we work to give high school students a faith that will stick through whatever comes next.
OUR VALUES
High school students are learning to live in a world that is constantly vying for their attention. We value reaching students in the midst of that context and helping them turn their attention toward Jesus in the hopes that they will discover the authentic person that God created them to be. We believe that this discovery happens through relationships with their peers and a trusted adult leader that encourages them to look to the person of Jesus for their worth, value, and identity. High school students are a part of a generation that is always ready to dig beneath the surface. As such, we work to create an environment where students can question, push back, and ultimately discover a genuine faith in Jesus.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Ripple Effect is a tight knit community of students that is open and inviting to anyone that is navigating high school. We use a lot of different elements to create a gathering that is engaging and conducive to authentic relationships and spiritual growth. The night begins with time to hang out together and catch up on whats been happening during the week. After that, we typically move toward a time of worship that is powerful and energetic, setting us up to hear a challenging message that creates opportunities for deep conversations and big questions. Those conversations typically happen immediately after the message in the context of a small group of students with trusted adult leaders. Ripple Effect is a gathering created for and influenced by high school students! You won’t want to miss it.
