BENEVOLENCE

A HELPING HAND

At Port City Community Church, we are committed to walking alongside you during times of hardship, offering support and resources to help you experience stability and a sense of belonging.

Whether you’re navigating a difficult season or facing an unexpected need, our goal is to help you experience hope, healing, and a path forward. We also want to connect you with supportive resources—both within our church and throughout the Wilmington community.

If you are currently facing a financial hardship, we encourage you to complete an application using the link below. This allows us to better understand your situation and discern how we can best offer support.

To be eligible for assistance, individuals must:

  • Consistent Attendance: have consistently attended Sunday gatherings at Port City for the past three months, and

  • Personal Connection: be meaningfully connected in community—through a relationship with a Port City staff member or volunteer, or by actively taking steps to become engaged.

If you do not meet the eligibility criteria listed above, we still want to help you find the support you need. We encourage you to connect with our community partner, The Help Hub, which combines financial and volunteer resources, to help individuals avoid eviction, utility disconnection, and other crises.

We also invite you to explore additional resources through the New Hanover County Resource Portal or Community Link.
