Antonio - An Active, Aspiring Entrepreneur

Antonio is in the 6th grade at Holly Shelter Middle School and enjoys anything that keeps his feet moving, from football to sports to dancing! In the future, Antonio wants to be a successful chef and own his own restaurant.

He believes his best quality is “How much I love my mom and how much she loves me. She is my best friend and favorite person to play football with,” said Antonio.

According to Antonio, the best part of going to school is going to see his CIS Student Support Specialist Lily Zukerman, who he calls Ms. Z, for group. He especially likes days when Ms. Z takes everyone outside!

“They help me stay calm and comforted and teach me ways to behave better in class,” Antonio said of his CIS staff members. “I like when Ms. Z helps me on my math homework. She helps me feel productive and like I know what I’m doing, and it keeps my teachers happy with me.”

“Antonio is a shining star. He came into middle school with a growth mindset, and actively spreads positivity to his peers and teachers alike. From his bright smile and kind words to his lively dance moves and crazy ball skills, Antonio has so many gifts to share and works hard every day to support his classmates and friends. I am so proud of the remarkable progress Antonio has made just at the beginning of sixth grade, and am SO excited to see what he shares with the world,” said Ms. Z.
