OVERFLOW MENTORSHIP &
LEADER OPPORTUNITIES
As a church, we believe intergenerational relationships are essential to the church's health and the raising up of the next generation!
Through Overflow, our church has two great ways to encourage and equip
18-25 year-olds in their walk with God: mentorship and group leadership! If you are interested in getting more information, fill out the form below, and our team will reach out to you as soon as possible!
Mentorship
Overflow’s mentor program is designed to facilitate healthy, honest, and helpful mentoring relationships. Every mentorship relationship is structured around one-hour biweekly meetings whenever you are available. The content of these conversations is determined by the mentee, and mentors are equipped by the Overflow staff!
Group Leadership
At Overflow, community groups are where deep relationships are developed, and a formative community is forged through helping everyone know they belong, can be known, and find encouragement! Group leadership entails investing in 10-12, 18-25-year-olds (grouped by gender and age) on Thursday nights from 6 - 8:45 pm!
PORT CITY KIDS CONNECT
We would love for you to join us for Port City Kids CONNECT on the last Sunday of every month!
CONNECT is a space for parents to connect with other parents in the same season of life. Join us in the grassy area outside Studio 3 anytime between 10 and 11 on the last Sunday of EVERY month!
Coffee is provided for parents as well as games and a yummy treat for the kids! Registration is not required, simply show up and CONNECT!
RISE UP COMMUNITY FARM
Rise Up plants hope in our community by cultivating land and community, educating and nourishing our neighbors in need, and empowering local youth. As one of our local partners, it is our hope to encourage and uplift Rise Up as they work each day to bring their mission to life! Check out the link below to learn more about how you can support!
CONNECT GROUPS
At Port City, we believe that community is essential!
That’s why we organize groups to help you find a welcoming place to build community around the person of Jesus! Our Connect Groups are designed for you to jump in, find community, and be encouraged in your walk.
PORT CITY 101
Curious about Port City Church? Have you been coming for a while and now you are looking to get more connected? Are you new and wondering if this is the place for you? Port City 101 is the best place to start!
You’ll get to meet some staff, learn about groups, the various ministries here at the church and in our community, and get to know other people who are looking to connect at Port City as well. Most importantly, Port City 101 is a place where we get to come alongside you in your walk with God. We would love to have you join us!
PORT CITY PODCAST
Did you know we have a podcast? This is a place where you can find all of our Sunday teaching content, as well as a place to find additional conversations and resources to help encourage you in your walk with God!
WEEKDAY DEVOTIONS
Throughout the year, our staff creates weekday devotions to help encourage you in your personal walk with God. You can have these devotions delivered directly to your inbox!
THE WALKING TOGETHER COLLECTION
The collection is designed to help children process common yet difficult topics alongside their parents. We see these books as tools to help families have meaningful and hopeful conversations, whether those circumstances are happening for them personally or if they are being experienced by a friend, family member, or even a neighbor.

We need to practice being in His presence by engaging in disciplines that position us to connect with our Creator. We have recommended books & resources that offer insight and inspiration on ways to develop spiritual habits that further one’s walk with God and pursuit of His heart and character.
PORT CITY MISSION MURAL
We've been working on a special project on the Atrium wall in our Main Hallway. We sat down with Doc Reed, the artist who designed and painted this project, to hear the process of creating the mural and the symbolism woven into the details!

CONVERSATION WITH ITALY FIELD PARTNER
Our senior pastor, Mike Ashcraft, recently had a Zoom conversation with Andrea Dorigo, one of our field partners in Italy. Mike and Andrea discussed the challenges and opportunities of “bearing witness” in a place where the Gospel really began!
VIGILANT HOPE CAFÉ
Starting May 5th, the Vigilant Hope Café at our Wilmington Campus will only be open on Sundays, 8:30 - 11:30 AM.
