Our doors open 20 minutes prior to each service, so that kids can come in and get settled before the service, giving you a chance to do the same.

Doors will be closed 20 minutes after the service begins.

  • We would like to do everything we can to make your first time check-in at Port City Kids a great experience. Before you attend for the first time, simply fill out our pre-registration form below for your campus. When you arrive, let us know at the check-in desk that you pre-registered and you are a first time visitor and our host team will assist you. We encourage you to come a little early on your first Sunday!

    • Pre-registration Forms submitted on Sunday may not be processed until the following Sunday!

  • Upon check-in, each child will receive a sticker nametag that identifies their classroom, special notes, and security code. Parents will be given a Parent ID sticker with a matching security code that must be presented at pick-up.

    • In the event that Treasure Island staff needs to contact a parent, the security code on the ID sticker will be displayed on the screen in the auditorium. Come to the entry point of the Treasure Island, and a staff member will escort you to your child. You will need an ID sticker that matches the child’s sticker in order to pick him or her up.

    • If a parent loses their tag during service, the parent must report to the front desk and submit needed identification before we will print a new tag. This policy is strictly enforced and no exceptions are made.

  • All of our volunteers are Background Checked and Safety Trained. In the event that you may need to stay with your child for the duration of the service, you will be required to pass a Background Check and complete Safety Training. Contact your campus coordinator at least 1 week in advance to begin this process.

  • It is a Safety Policy of children’s ministry that all children have a current Photo Release Form on file. Parents have the option to either “opt in” or “opt out” of the Photo Release. If you have further questions, please contact a staff member.

  • For our K-3 kids, we use a curriculum called Hyfi. Hyfi’s study plan is built on 12 simple, Biblical truths. Each Biblical truth is assigned to a calendar month, then throughout the month the Biblical truth will be unpacked through engaging, interactive Bible study so that kids always will see who they are because of who God is.

  • Each month, our kids will be aligned on the same Biblical truth. This is phrased as an "I am _ " statement to anchor identity of who they are because of who God is. These 12 simple, Biblical truths combine to create a 12-month rolling Scope and Sequence. This rolling Scope and Sequence is viewed as circular, rather than a traditional linear approach. Each year, kids will study all 12 Biblical truths with new, fun, and engaging monthly themes, activities, Bible stories, and media.

  • For our 4th and 5th graders, we want them to learn who God is and what that means when it comes to identity and belonging. A solid foundation on the truth of the gospel combined with a safe and engaging environment where all kids feel welcomed and cared for will make room for them to explore, learn, and grow in a way that will impact them for a lifetime.
