  • We open doors 15 minutes prior to each service, so that kids can come in and get settled before the service, giving you a chance to do the same.

  • There is a check-in station at each campus to ensure your child’s involvement and safety.

  • We would like to do everything we can to make your first time check-in at Port City Kids a great experience. Before you attend for the first time, simply fill out our pre-registration form. When you arrive, let us know at the check-in desk that you pre-registered and you are a first time visitor and our host team will assist you. We encourage you to come a little early on your first Sunday!

In the event that Treasure Island staff needs to contact a parent, the number (security code) on the ID tag will be displayed on the screen in the auditorium. Come to the entry point of the auditorium, and a staff member will escort you to your child. You will need an ID tag that matches the child’s in order to pick him or her up.

  • Security tags are provided for all volunteers, nametags are provided for all children, registration forms have any vital information, and check-in and check-out procedures are enforced.

  • Also, screening for all Treasure Island volunteers includes a criminal background check, training, and interviews by TI staff.

  • Each child is given a nametag during check-in that has a computer generated security code printed on it, and the parent is given a pick up tag that matches. When picking up their child, the parent must present their pick up tag and the security code is matched. If a parent or child loses their tag during service, the parent must report to the front desk and submit needed identification before we will print a new tag. This policy is strictly enforced and no exceptions are made.

  • All of our volunteers are Background Checked.

  • As a regular part of telling the story and celebrating the life change that happens in our ministry each week we LOVE to use pictures! After all, a picture is worth a thousand words, right? While we know this is a powerful tool, we also know that there are some instances where for a variety of reasons you may prefer that your child's picture is not taken and we want to honor you. Consequently, we ask that all parents complete PC3’s Photo Release Form. Please click the button below to learn a little more and complete your child’s photo release form.

We are committed to offering an inclusive, safe and loving environment for children with special needs and/or a child who might simply need additional assistance in the classroom. Our desire is to create an accepting church environment for these families and to support them by providing additional resources.

We offer a One-on-One Buddy Program that matches your child with a consistent volunteer who will help them participate in an inclusive setting in Treasure Island. Our desire is for the buddy, the child, and their family to develop a strong relationship with each other based on trust and communication.

To request a Buddy, please contact kids@portcitychurch.org.

If you have any questions or need information prior to your visit please contact us.
