Our Mission on Display:

In 1999, Port City Community Church embarked on a journey with the mission "to reach people and help them walk with God."

From the beginning, our mission helped to shape us into the kind of church we wanted to become. As we approached our 25th anniversary, we wanted to commemorate our mission statement in a unique and visually captivating way. Here is the story of how this project came together.

To bring our mission to life, we commissioned Doc Reed to create a mural on the Atrium wall of the Wilmington Campus.

Check out the video interview above with Doc Reed as he shares the process of creating the mural and the symbolism woven into the details!
