The story of Easter is a story of good news. It’s through the resurrection of Jesus that hope is now available to us. A hope that one day all the broken things in this world will be restored & put back together- more beautiful than before!

We are hosting five Easter gatherings, across Saturday and Sunday. While we did experience a recent flood in our building (click here to learn more), we have adapted our spaces and created new, safe environments for our Port City Kids. To have enough space for everyone we’re asking you to make a reservation for Easter and, if available, to help serve at an Easter Gathering.

Saturday, March 30 // 9am & 11am
Sunday, March 31 // 9am, 11am, & 2pm

Plan to Arrive Early to Secure Your Seat
We recommend planning to arrive 20 minutes early — this will allow time to park, grab a complimentary coffee, and check children into our Kids Ministries! We will also have several places throughout the church for you to take a photo. Our Easter Gatherings will include music and a message from our Senior Pastor, Mike Ashcraft.

When You Arrive, a Volunteer will Help You Find Parking
If you are new to Port City Church, we will have volunteers at the blue tent in front of our main entrances who would love to meet you, answer any questions, and show you around! If you have children (Birth to Elementary) and you would like to check them in to our Kids’ Environments, you can pre-register them below!

We are so excited to celebrate the beauty and hope of the resurrection of Jesus together this Easter weekend! Like every year we expect a lot of people to walk through the doors of our church for Easter, and this year with the recent flooding in our building we will need to be creative and need your cooperation, and even more so your help. To pull off five Easter Gatherings across two days, we will need a lot of you who call Port City home to serve with us this Easter. We would love to have you serve on our Welcome Team or Kids Ministries. Let’s make this Easter something that WE do together! If you are able to serve with us, let us know by clicking the button below.

Are you checking in children in our Kids Ministries for the first time?
Let’s make the process a little easier!

What should I wear?
Our style at Port City is casual! You will see jeans, shorts, dresses, and occasional business casual attire. On Easter, some people like to dress up more than usual. No matter what you choose to wear, we’re glad you’re here!

Do you offer ASL or Spanish Translation at your Gatherings?
Yes! We have an ASL section at our 9AM Gathering and offer a live Spanish Translation headset at our 11AM Gathering.

I have sensitive hearing, are ear plugs available?
Yes! We provide complimentary ear plugs at the Connect Center — the space in front of the Main Auditorium entrance.

How do I get connected at Port City?
We would LOVE to help you get connected! We’d like to meet you and learn more about what you’re looking for and answer any questions you might have. Come talk to one of our volunteers at the Connect Center — the space in front of the Main Auditorium entrance.

Any other questions?
You can fill out our
Connect Card or you can meet us in-person at the Connect Center on a Sunday morning!

In the weeks leading up to Easter, our church is exploring the Gospel of John together with a weekday reading plan.

Additionally, we have written devotionals to guide you through each day’s Scripture Passage with a more in-depth exploration and meditation of the passage.

This is a great way to participate together as a church to better know God’s heart and to prepare our hearts for Easter!

Join us for Good Friday PRAYER & COMMUNION on March 29th at our Wilmington Campus. This will be a quiet space to encounter the goodness of God as we consider the cross of Christ! You will be invited to journey through the most significant events that led Jesus to the cross with moments to pause, to pray, and to contemplate the love & sacrifice of Jesus. Lastly you will have the opportunity to take communion in remembrance of Jesus. We hope this time will serve both as a reminder of the victory of the cross and prepare us to celebrate the resurrection over Easter weekend!

Plan to carve out roughly 30 minutes anytime between 4:00 and 7:00pm to participate in this special moment on Good Friday.

Families are welcome to attend together.
