The Border Perspective Encounter Team offers first hand experience of the U.S./Mexico borderlands and a glimpse into the lives of those who live there everyday.
As a part of this team, you will…
Interact with local pastors, border patrol agents, and humanitarian workers
Discuss migration through the lens of Scripture and a Kingdom mindset
Serve alongside local immigrant leaders
Visit significant sites along the border itself (we will remain in the U.S. at all times)
This Encounter Team will help you develop a curiosity for all people and their stories, it will position you beside people whose lives are different than your own, and it will challenge you to love the person in front of you, whomever they may be.

Location
We will spend our time in and around McAllen, Texas! You will need either a REAL ID or your passport to board the plane (effective May 7, 2025).
